R.W. Bro. Dr. Javed Akhtar, R.W. the Regional Grand Master, Distinguished Grand Officers, R.W. Past Regional Grand Masters, Members of the Deputation, Right Worshipful Brethren, Very Worshipful Brethren, Worshipful Brethren and my dear Brethren all – I owe you my gratitude for gracing our Installation Meeting with your distinguished presence.
I thank the Brethren of this Lodge for placing me in the Eastern Chair of this – my Mother Lodge. I shall certainly strive to steer this Lodge following the Tenets of Freemasonry in General and the Traditions of this Lodge in Particular with the help of my Officers and my Brethren.
We have a busy year ahead. We have workings and we hope to also substantially increase our charitable efforts. I look forward to the Charity Committee for their suggestions in this regard. We will also have the honour of receiving a representation from Lodge Concordia – our Sponsor Lodge, which now meets in England, next year and we look forward to welcoming them. In 2018, we will also complete 110 years of our existence and it is my desire that we do something to mark the occasion in a befitting manner.
I look forward to the support of my Officers and good attendance from our Brethren in the ensuing year to enable me to discharge the duties of my Office in a seamless manner.
